Arriving by Tube

Arriving by Tube, you have a choice between two Tube stations: Stepney Green or Mile End.

Stepney Green Tube station is on the District Line (green on the Tube map) and the Hammersmith and City Line (pink on the Tube map). Turn left out of the station and walk along Mile End Road for approximately 5 minutes, then turn left into Bancroft Road. On Bancroft Road, look out for the gated entrance on your right. Walking through the gate, the Graduate Centre will be the first building to your right. (It has a glass front on ground floor level and its cafeteria/seating area is visible from the outside).

Mile End Tube station is on the Central line. Turn left out of the station, cross over the junction, walk under the bridge and along Mile End Road for approximately 7 minutes, past East Gate and past the main building (Queen’s Building) until you see Bancroft Road to your right. Turn right into Bancroft Road. On Bancroft Road, look out for the gated entrance on your right. Walking through the gate, the Graduate Centre will be the first building to your right. Cycling/Walking

If you are travelling by bike or walking, please use the postcode above and the campus map to help you navigate to the venue. Bike racks for locking your bike can be found in various places on campus.

Arriving by car

Parking space at and around the university is extremely limited, and on-site parking is designated for QMUL staff and special permit holders only. We therefore strongly recommend you use the alternative transport methods (as listed above) to get to the venue.

If you do need to drive to campus, QMUL open day published a list of offsite parking options within easy reach of Mile End, including park and ride options.

If you are a blue badge holder and require parking on site, please email opendays@qmul.ac.uk.
